1. Introduction
Welcome to Cobalt Vortex! Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how TKL SKIP HIRE LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with your use of Cobalt Vortex (“the App”).
2. Information We Collect
The App does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location. When you use the App, the following data may be collected automatically, mainly by the advertising service described in section 5:
- Device and advertising identifiers — for example your device's Android advertising ID and app set ID.
- Approximate location — estimated from your device's IP address (not precise GPS location).
- App interactions — for example app launches, taps, and ad views.
- Diagnostics — for example app launch time, performance, and stability information.
- Purchase information — if you buy an item in the App, Google Play sends the App a record of that purchase (order number, the item bought, the time of purchase and a purchase token). We never receive your payment card, bank or billing details.
3. How We Use Your Information
This data is used to:
- Show advertising in the App and measure its performance
- Understand how the App is used and improve it (analytics)
- Prevent fraud, invalid ad traffic, and abuse, and keep the App secure
- Provide and maintain the App's basic functionality
- Deliver and restore the items you buy, and prevent fraudulent or duplicate purchases
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain collected data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, and it is automatically deleted within 90 days. You may also request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us using the details below, and we will process your request promptly. Data processed by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's own policies (see section 5). Purchase records the App receives are kept on your device only for as long as the App is installed; Google keeps its own payment records under Google's policies (see the In-App Purchases section).
5. Advertising
Cobalt Vortex displays advertising provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To show and measure ads and to detect fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects the data listed in section 2 and shares it with Google. Ads may be personalised based on your advertising ID unless you opt out.
- Consent: if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App asks for your consent before personalised advertising is used, through Google's consent message.
- Opting out: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, at any time in your device's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and policies.google.com/privacy.
6. In-App Purchases
Cobalt Vortex is free to play and offers optional in-app purchases of virtual coins. All payments are processed by Google Play (Google LLC): your payment details are handled by Google under the Google Payments Privacy Notice and the Google Privacy Policy, and are never shared with us.
- What we receive: only the purchase record described in the Information We Collect section, which the App uses to add the coins to your balance and to finish purchases that were interrupted. It is not sold, not shared with third parties and not used for advertising.
- Virtual coins have no real-money value, cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be used inside the App. They are stored on your device: uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes them.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies.
- Parents: every purchase needs the approval of the Google account holder. You can require a password or approval for purchases in the Google Play app (Settings → Authentication, or Google Family Link).
7. Third-Party Services
Apart from Google AdMob, we may use third-party services for analytics and crash reporting (for example, to measure app performance and fix bugs). These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent to personalised advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below, or use your device's ad settings described in section 5.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
